Are you a leader or a follower?
Well well well, look who’s trying to get to know me on a deeper level. Are you sure you’re ready for this kind of knowledge? Because the answer to whether I’m a leader or a follower is a tale as old as time, a song as old as rhyme… okay, maybe not that dramatic, but you get the point.
Am I a leader or a follower? Let me start by saying that I’m a guy, so naturally, I have some sort of innate desire to lead and take charge. It’s in my genes, what can I say? But honestly, whether I’m a leader or a follower really depends on the situation.
For instance, if I’m at a buffet, I am definitely a leader. I’m not afraid to stack my plate high with every single dish available, and I’ll be the first in line for that second, third, and fourth helping. But, if I’m at a house party and somebody suggests we play a game that involves blindfolds and a piñata, I’m definitely a follower. I’ll happily stand aside and let someone else take the reins on that one.
All jokes aside, I do believe that I possess qualities of both a leader and a follower. Sometimes I take charge and make decisions with confidence, but other times I appreciate the guidance and direction of someone else. And honestly, it’s okay to be both. We’re all human, and nobody is perfect.
So, to answer your question, I’m a bit of both a leader and a follower. And I’m totally comfortable with that. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have a buffet to tackle.
