Guest Article Pitching Guidelines:

Welcome aspiring writers! I am excited to receive your submissions for guest articles on my blog page. Thank you for your interest in sharing your insights on social justice, human rights, politics in Zimbabwe, and their impact on the world. In order to ensure high-quality content and a fair selection process, i have established some guidelines for article pitching:

1. Topic Selection:
– I encourage articles and poems that focus on social justice, human rights, and politics in Zimbabwe, while also exploring their global implications.
– Writers should pay particular attention to Zimbabwe’s reactions to world events and developments.

2. Opinion-Based Articles with Facts:
– I am looking for opinion articles and poems based on well-researched facts and evidence to support your arguments.
– You can present your opinions on the given topics, but it is important to maintain a factual foundation to enhance credibility.

3. Writing Tone:
– Feel free to use any tone of writing that you are comfortable with, but I have a preference for contemplative and introspective tones that encourage critical thinking.
– Humor can be used to engage readers, but please do so respectfully and in good taste.

4. Declining AI-Generated Articles:
– AI-generated articles will automatically be declined since I place great value on originality and encourage human creativity.

5. By-Line for Writers:
– I highly value your contribution and will provide you with your own by-line for each published article. Your authorship will be recognized and displayed prominently.

7. Weekly Pitch Prompts:
– Every Sunday, at exactly 22:00 pm, a post about the week’s pitch prompt will be published on this website.
– Writers who are subscribed to Zealous Thierry will receive the pitch prompt directly.
– The pitch prompt will be visible to all, encouraging everyone to submit their articles based on the given topics.

8. Article Selection and Publishing:
– Only 5 articles will be selected for publication each week, ensuring diversity and maintaining the quality of content on our blog.
– Selected articles will be published regularly, giving my readers a regular dose of thought-provoking content.

Please note: The rules mentioned above are designed to ensure a fair and engaging platform for both writers and readers. I appreciate your efforts and creativity in contributing to this blog page. I reserve the right to make minor adjustments to the guidelines as necessary.

I look forward to reading your insightful articles and poems, and thank you for joining me in my pursuit of knowledge and positive change.

Happy writing!

Quote of the week

“Within a system which denies the existence of basic human rights, fear tends to be the order of the day. Fear of imprisonment, fear of torture, fear of death, fear of losing friends, family, property or means of livelihood, fear of poverty, fear of isolation, fear of failure. A most insidious form of fear is that which masquerades as common sense or even wisdom, condemning as foolish, reckless, insignificant or futile the small, daily acts of courage which help to preserve man’s self-respect and inherent human dignity. It is not easy for a people conditioned by fear under the iron rule of the principle that might is right to free themselves from the enervating miasma of fear. Yet even under the most crushing state machinery courage rises up again and again, for fear is not the natural state of civilized man
