He said it. Over and over. “No more endless wars.” “America First.” “Bring the troops home.” That was the promise. The gullible American people voted for it! And now? Bombs are falling, people are dying, and vows of revenge and retribution are being lobbed in escalating threats, all while untold taxpayer dollars are being spent on a military strategy that’s expected to continue for weeks with an undefined goal and conclusion.
Trump’s own goals for this war have already shifted, from regime change, to stopping nuclear weapons, to destroying their navy and missiles, all in five days. When your mission statement changes three times before the week is out, that’s not strategy.
