What change, big or small, would you like your blog to make in the world?
That’s a question that I’ve been pondering for a while now. As a blogger, I have the privilege and the responsibility of sharing my thoughts, opinions, and insights with a global audience. But what is the purpose of my blog? What is the impact that I hope to have? And how do I measure my success?
My blog is [Zealousthierry] , a platform where I write about various topics that interest me, such as poetry, politics, social justice, and pop culture. I started this blog as a way of expressing myself, and also as a way of engaging with other like-minded people. I wanted to create a space where I could showcase my creativity, my passion, and my perspective on the world. But more than that, I wanted to create a space where I could make a difference.
You see, I believe that words have power. Words can inspire, educate, challenge, and transform. Words can spark conversations, debates, and movements. Words can shape the way we see ourselves and others. Words can change the world. And that’s what I hope to do with my blog: to use my words to change the world for the better.
But how do I define “better”? And how do I know if I’m achieving it? Well, that’s where it gets tricky. Because change is not always easy to quantify or qualify. Change can be big or small, fast or slow, visible or invisible. Change can be personal or collective, local or global, positive or negative. Change can be intentional or accidental, planned or spontaneous, expected or surprising. Change can be anything and everything.
So how do I measure the change that I want to make with my blog? Well, I don’t have a clear-cut answer for that. But I do have some indicators that help me gauge if I’m on the right track. For example:

The number of views, likes, comments, and shares that my posts receive. This tells me how many people are reading my blog, and how they are reacting to it.

The feedback that I get from my readers, whether positive or negative. This tells me how my blog is affecting them, and what they think of it.
– The connections that I make with other bloggers and influencers. This tells me how my blog is expanding my network, and creating opportunities for collaboration.
– The recognition that I get from other platforms and media outlets. This tells me how my blog is increasing my visibility, and enhancing my credibility.
– The personal satisfaction that I feel from writing my blog. This tells me how much I enjoy blogging, and how it fulfills me.
These are some of the ways that I measure the change that I want to make with my blog. But ultimately, the change that I want to make is not about numbers or metrics. It’s about making a positive difference in the lives of others, and in the world at large. It’s about using my voice to speak up for what matters to me, and to amplify the voices of those who are marginalized or silenced. It’s about using my creativity to entertain, enlighten, and empower others. It’s about using my passion to ignite passion in others.
That’s the change that I want to make with my blog: to inspire others to be their best selves, and to create their own change in the world.
And if you’re reading this right now, then you’re part of that change.
Thank you for being part of my journey.
